Sterile wastes lay before me

The foul breath of man
Clawing at me
Without mercy
Hunting my skin

But I stand untouched by the winds furious voice

A warmth grows, in my chest
A warmth that no winds nor icy waters can lessen
Unearthly, slumbering cinders
That burns endlessly
Unquenchable by weather

So I walk out on the cold surface
The ice melts beneath my feet
My footprints, burning away the cold,
Turning the frozen, into misty puddles
Of black stinking water
This is what will be their downfall

In the centre I halt
Feeling a surge in me
Like a flow of lava
And I brake (sic) the barrier
