Super Sad Morgan
Lets play something melodramatic in a good way
Like Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds on a good day
Some stadium rock that it's okay to say you like
Lets buy matching t-shirts
And when we go home on the train
And everyone else looks the same
We can pretend we belong to something together again
And call me super sad
But I've been checking my e-mails
On average about sixty two times a day now
And I've been listening to love songs
On radio two and I've been singing along
I even made a request
But it just made me depressed
'cause there was nobody there to listen to it with on air
So I gave you a call, you said you just didn't care
You said "you've gotta let go of all the things we both had"
Well call me super sad
Yeah I've got soul and I'm Super Sad
And these shut up shops they remind me of us
And if someone mentions Woolworths again I think I'm gonna combust
We stole all the pick and mix from out of our hearts
And we kept on picking until it all just fell apart
And looking back, maybe it was doomed from the start
But at least we had some good times
And at least our CVs look fine
And maybe in time we just might
Start again
